J'hésite parce que de nombreux "bassins naturels" découverts par Google sont artificiels (exemple : «Le bassin naturel de Mimulus, une superbe mare en polyester...» ne me semble pas tout à fait naturel).

Si tu as la place, tu peux préciser "géologique" ou "parfaitement naturel" ou "bassin rocheux naturel" ou "bassin naturel non artificiel" ou "bassin naturel antédilivien"... ou "authentique bassin naturel" ou "bassin authentiquement naturel"...

Grotte souterraine ou rivière souterraine


Explanation:
Si le plan d'eau s'est érodé sous le rocher, lequel peut couvrir une grotte, alors il peut déboucher sur la formation d'une rivière souterraine, dans la grotte. J'ai tout de suite pensé à la rivière souterraine (également appelée grotte souterraine, d'où mes deux propositions) de Labouiche (Ariège), autrefois habitée par les hommes, et que l'on parcourt en barque.
