Si parla delle botteghe veneziane di scultura, che realizzavano statue per tutte le ville venete, oltre che per la città di Venezia:

Aufgrund dieser speziellen Auftragslage hatten die genannten Werkstätten eine hochvirtuose Arbeitstechnik ausgebildet, die es ihnen erlaubte, in kurzer Zeit auch komplexe Ensembles zu vollenden. Die Schattenseite dieser Spezialisierung lag hingegen darin, daß sie zu einer zunehmenden Schematisierung der Formen und zum Verlust plastischer Substanz, ***von Statuarik führte***.

In realtà non capisco neanche a livello sintattico come concludere la frase, anche se mi pare di capire che Statuarik significa "carattere statuario" più che "statuaria" , dal momento che il Duden definisce "Statuarik" come "Statuenhaftigkeit".
