Non riesco a capire il senso della parola, dato che si tratta di un anello di tenuta e non dovrebbe "rotolare".

ovunque c'è corsa c'è un movimento (anche minimo), non per forza il movimento deve essere uno "srotolamento" ma anche uno scorrimento. Sull'hoepli ho trovato non solo srotolare ma anche "far scorrere".

Asker: Grazie Daniele, quindi non necessariamente rappresenta un movimento.

Asker: Però così ha sicuramente senso, dato che è un anello di tenuta che può passsare, con il movimento della valvola, dalla posizione di chiusura a quella di apertura.
