Grazie, ma nel frattempo ho scoperto che si tratta di tutt'altra cosa. E' la "unità stratigrafica di rivestimento", applicata sulla foto. Siccome i termini successivi si riferiscono tutti alla stampa fotografica, sono andata a cercare in quel settore finché non ho trovato la risposta.
Grazie comunque dell'aiuto, senza altri dati era quasi impossibile fare centro, il termine in sé è vago.
