te lo scrivo proprio perché la stessa domanda l'avevo fatta proprio io in proz e, nonostante il mio purismo linguistico, l'avevo poi accettata come termine ormai attestato nel registro turistico.

naturalmente per differenziare i backpacker, orribile anglicismo, dai turisti che vanno in un albergo a cinque stelle...
