Das Bundesministerium für Justiz hat mit Einbindung des Hauptverbandes eine Möglichkeit zur elektronischen Übermittlung von Gutachten an die Justiz geschaffen. Mit dieser Dokumenteneinbringungsservice (DES) genannten Anwendung, die in Fortentwicklung des für die Sachverständigen für Liegenschaftsbewertung bereits bestehenden Zuganges entwickelt wurde, kann man erstellte Gutachten nicht mehr nur im Postweg, sondern auch elektronisch an das Gericht oder die Staatsanwaltschaft übermitteln.
