W literaturze drukowanej i internecie spotykałam już różne tłumaczenia: Pomorskie Muzeum Krajowe, Muzeum Pomorza Zachodniego i inne.
Wydaje mi się, że rzecz powinna się nazywać Muzeum Pomorza (z jednej strony trochę mylące dla Polaków żyjących w Polsce, bo Pomorze kojarzy się tylko z polskim Pomorzem, ale z drugiej strony historycznie patrząc Pomorze należało do różnych nacji a teraz jest po prostu podzielone) lub Muzeum Landu Pomorze. Jakie macie zdanie na ten temat? Pomorze Zachodnie to chyba też nie za bardzo, bo tu nie ma mowy o Hinterpommern (tak samo jak i o Vorpommern).

IMO Muzeum Pomorza jest OK. W nazwie jest Landesmuseum, bo prawdopodobnie land Mecklenburg-Vorpommern jest organem założycielskim (o ile ten termin ma zastosowanie do niemieckiej instytucji), ale taki szczegół IMO można opuścić w polskiej wersji nazwy.
