em linguagem médica um médico "orienta" um paciente para outro médico. Por exemplo um médico de clinica geral pode "orientar" (se necessário) um paciente para um colega especialista. Se o caso envolve uma mudança de hospital/clinica pode usar-se o termo "transferir".

Überweisung é mais usado no nosso sentido de "orientar"...
