Explanation:
Yo tengo en mis manos el argumento de mis palabras y se lo lanzo a otra persona. De este modo no me puede desconcertar.

'zuwerfen' en el sentido de "lanzar", como cuando decimos "lanzar miradas"; mientras que se usa 'umwerfen' en esta oración en el sentido de "desconcertar", "hacer perder la serenidad", etc. (jemanden aus der Fassung bringen...)

  -> Wenn Du "a mí" so betonst, sagst Du implizit (oder läßt es dahingestellt), dass aber sehr wohl ein anderer umgeworfen werden kann. Diese Betonung ist mir zu heikel. Tirar wäre eine Möglichkeit, "convinciert" ;-) mich aber auch nicht so...
