Dentro de esa clasificación y tratando de evitar los falsos amigos (Bars) y conociendo el uso de Bistros y Bars en Alemania, creo que la clasificación tendría más sentido poniendo: bares, pubs, cafés y restaurantes (según el uso español). Mira las definiciones del término en el Duden para aclarar las diferencias:

Bis|tro [frz. bistro(t), H.u.], das; -s, -s: kleineres, meist einfacheres Lokal, in dem auch ein Imbiss genommen werden kann.

1}Bar, die; -, -s [engl. bar, urspr. = Schranke, die Gastraum u. Según eso, Bar corresponde a un local nocturno (pub, etc.) y bistro sería un bar diurno donde se puede beber y comer algo. Espero que esto te ayude.
