disagree  Karlo Heppner: Für cantonera habe ich nur Kantenschutz gefunden. Die Aufkantung ist aber ein Stück nach oben gerichteter Beton, der sich an der Kante befindet.

  -> Bueno, entonces cabría "canto" o "reborde". Lo de "hacia arriba" (Auf-) no se me ocurre cómo traducirlo al español sin que rasque.

Y, aunque el DRAE no lo diga, debiera decirlo u.t.c.s. (se utiliza también como sustantivo).
