disagree  Germán Porten (X): "cinta" oder "encintado" => die Feldspulen (e-Motors z.B.) werden mit einem Band umwickelt und lackiert, einerseits um die Drähte der Spulen zu befestigen damit sie sich nicht gegeneinander durch Reibung beschädigen, anderseits aus Isolationsgründen.

Tenemos 'guarnición' en el Ernst, si se está hablando de rodillos, pero yo me inclinaría a pensar que en un motor eléctrico, por la potencia que desarrolla, hace falta un anclaje estructural del conjunto físico del motor, según esta definición de la Brockhaus Enzyklopädie:

Die Bandage ... dient der Erzielung einer höheren Festigkeit als der des Grundkörpers;

En Kundera, 'estructural bracing', soporte estructural.

disagree  Germán Porten (X): Lamento, pero todo indica que se trata del encintado del arrollamiento de un motor eléctrico (no puedo imaginar otra cosa). Por favor, no lo tomes a mal, pero quiero que mi acotación sirva para una eventual corrección de los glosarios.
