Aus Erfahrung wissen wir, wenn wir zwei Plastikfolien voneinander trennen oder ein Hemd aus Kunstfasern über trockene und saubere Haare ziehen, ziehen sich diese nach der Trennung wieder an oder wir stellen ein Knistern fest oder wir sehen Funken. Die beiden Trennflächen haben sich mit einer elektrischen Ladung gegensätzlicher Polarität aufgeladen, die sich nach der Trennung wieder anziehen.
