Στις απόπειρες ευπρεπισμού και βελτίωσης της εικόνας της παραμελημένης τουρκοκυπριακής συνοικίας της Λεμεσού, προστίθεται αυτόν τον καιρό κι η αποκατάσταση των όψεων των καταστημάτων της περιοχής, τα περισσότερα των οποίων διαχειρίζονταν πριν από το '74 Τουρκοκύπριοι.
