Βάζω υψηλό confidence level, γιατί υποθέτω ότι αυτό ψάχνεις.
Εάν το συγκείμενο σου (καλό θα είναι να το δώσεις) συντάσσεται με > να + ρήμα, τότε υποθέτω μιλάμε για "to reserve the right to".
Εάν πηγαίναμε στο στάνταρ νομικό "με την επιφύλαξη", θα λέγαμε το "without prejudice to".
Αν τώρα ο ποιητής "διατηρεί τις επιφυλάξεις του", then I guess "he/she would have/express reservations about..."
Αν όχι, εδώ είμαστε!

Καλημέρα και πάλι.
Νομίζω ότι η απάντηση μου καλύπτει κάθε πιθανό κενό, εφόσον ο/η gougou54 δεν έχει δώσει ακόμα συγκείμενο.
Αν το κείμενο συντάσσεται ως εξής: "διατηρώ την επιφύλαξη να κάνω κάτι (εννοείται: προτού π.χ. δώσω τη συγκατάθεση μου ή οτιδήποτε άλλο)", τότε η αγγλική απόδοση σαφώς και είναι "reserve the right to do sthg".
Αν το ελληνικό λέει "με την επιφύλαξη + γενική", ναι, τότε θα πηγαίναμε στο "without prejudice to", όπως αναφέρω και στην απάντηση μου.
Πολλές ίδιες απαντήσεις και πού καταλήγουμε; Context, please...
