The Oxford Greek - English Dictionary gives the meanings of επιτροπεία to be trusteeship, tutelage or guardianship. The Stamelos/Xatzimanolis Dictionary of Legal Terminology gives the meanings as being guardianship, pupillage, tutelage, custody, tutorship, protective supervision. I recommend you either choose between trusteeship or guardianship, or choose the word that you feel suits your overall text best.
