See this passage from Item 3 of the http://www.cypruslawdigest.com/.... link that I have included. It reads, "Order 48 is a very important procedural rule very commonly used in practice. It provides for the form of applications by summons or ex parte for all interlocutory matters and also specifies in which cases an application has to be accompanied by an affidavit and in which cases it may be made under the rules on an ex parte basis."
