Greek to English translations [PRO]
General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
Greek term or phrase: ΠΡΙΝ ΤΟ ΧΑΟΣ ΕΜΕΙΣ!!
Context: questionnaire seeking views of doctors on different advertisements for inhaled corticosteroids (for asthma).

One question asks "What is the main message being conveyed?"

One doctor's reply is "ΠΡΙΝ ΤΟ ΧΑΟΣ ΕΜΕΙΣ!!"

What is he trying to say?

Thanks.

Explanation:
This is an ironic wordplay on the famous quote of Luis XIV "μετά από μένα, το χάος".
I guess what the doctor is saying is that the advertisment went over the top (a medicine with wondrous effects). "".

agree  Philip Lees: I always associate "Après moi le déluge" with Charles de Gaulle, but all the references I find are to Louis XV (quinze). Probably lots of people said it.
