2. επιθυμία, λαχτάρα: Το ’χω μεράκι να ασχοληθώ με το θέατρο. longing, yearning, strong desire
3. (plural, μεράκια) α. καημός: Πιάσε ένα ποτό να φύγουν τα μεράκια. the blues, gloom
β. ευχάριστο συναίσθημα που προκύπτει από διασκέδαση: Ήπιαν λίγο και ήρθαν στα μεράκια. high spirits
