Στην περίπτωση της συνδρομητικής τηλεόρασης, η αύξηση των τηλεθεατών δεν μεταφράζεται στα πλαίσια του «χρόνου» που ισχύουν στα άλλα δύο μοντέλα που αναλύσαμε.

Δηλαδή η μέτρηση του τηλεθεατή δεν γίνεται με βάση αν παρακολούθησε κάποια συγκεκριμένη εκπομπή μέσα σε ένα συγκεκριμένο χρονικό διάστημα ή πλαίσιο, αλλά γίνεται με βάση τα πακέτα συνδρομών που πωλούνται προς τους τηλεθεατές. Στην περίπτωση της τηλεόρασης, η έννοια του ‘Time’ συνδέεται με την έννοια του ‘Space’ και αναφέρονται κυρίως στις επιρροές των νέων τεχνολογιών και πως αυτές επηρεάζουν τον ‘Time’ και το ‘Space’ του τηλεθεατή, δημιουργώντας ουσιαστικά μια νέα σχέση βασισμένη στους παράγοντες ‘non – time’ and ‘ non – space’ . Οι έννοιες ‘Time’ and ‘Space’ δεν αναφέρονται μόνο στην περίπτωση της τηλεόρασης αλλά σε όλα τα Μέσα Μαζικής Ενημέρωσης και Επικοινωνίας . Μάλιστα, ο καθηγητής Foulger του Πανεπιστημίου του Oswego των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, για να αποδώσει την πολυπλοκότητα των εννοιών αυτών αλλά ταυτόχρονα και για να τις απλοποιήσει σχεδίασε το πιο κάτω μοντέλου:
