Από τη στιγμή που θέλουμε να διαφοροποιηθούμε στην προσφορά μας ως επαγγελματίες, ή ως ενεργά μέλη μιας κοινωνίας, είμαστε υποχρεωμένοι να δώσουμε αξία και νόημα στη δουλειά μας ή στον ρόλο μας, όσο και αν αυτά θεωρούνται μικρής σημασίας για οποιονδήποτε. Από τη στιγμή που αποτελούμε μέλος μιας ομάδας, ή μιας παραγωγικής αλυσίδας, έχουμε ίση σπουδαιότητα με οποιονδήποτε άλλο κρίκο της αλυσίδας αυτής. Πλέον δε αυτού, από τη στιγμή που δίνουμε νόημα σ’ αυτό που προσφέρουμε, είναι σαφές, ότι η ανταμοιβή από την ίδια την εργασία, θα είναι σημαντική και θα μας δίνει τη δύναμη της εξέλιξης. Πρέπει να νοιώσουμε ότι κάνουμε κάτι σημαντικό, για να το κάνουμε όσο πιο σημαντικό γίνεται.
