Haitian-Creole term or phrase: Oh my goodnes
Supposedly, "Messay Podig zaw" (spelling) mean's Oh my goodness. I was told this 20 years ago by full blooded cajun's. Is this correct?

O mezanmi!

Explanation:
Cajun Creole is completely different from Haitian Creole. If you want a Haitian Creole translation of "Oh my goodness!", my best statment would be: "O mezanmi! If you want a Cajun Creole translation, I'm afraid I cannot help.
