Asker: This term covers more than just pipes - in my case it's the metal frame of the elevator. How do I describe all the metal parts in a building in a single word?

Asker: It's not just structures - pipes are not structural elements

Asker: Maybe objects/parts. I was hoping there is a term used in English in the same context - potential equalization.
