Hallo vanuit Jeruzalem

Explanation:
My knowledge of Hebrew is very limited, but I'm quite sure about this.
First word (right to left) stands for 'Shalom' (= 'hallo', but also 'vrede'= 'peace').
So maybe your mail buddy means to say 'Peace from Jerusalem'; given the hectic situation over there, this wouldn't surprise me

neutral  Sylvie Hoyinck: Sjalom is de gebruikelijke groet, dus zou ik het ook zo opvatten. 'Hallo vanuit Jeruzalem'.
