Hebrew term or phrase: הספק מושקע, הספק מנוצל
Consider the following electrical circuit:
We have a cell phone.
The phone has a battery, which has internal resistance, causing a power loss.
In Hebrew, we say that the total power generated by the battery, before the power loss, is ההספק המושקע על ידי הסוללה, and it is equal to (battery emf) * (current).
The power lost due to the battery's internal resistance, which is equal to (current) * (current * internal resistance) is called ההספק המבוזבז.
The power actually consumed by the rest of the cell phone is called ההספק המנוצל על ידי המכשיר, and it is equal to (current) * (voltage on the battery terminals).
We have the relation הספק מושקע = הספק מנוצל + הספק מבוזבז.

My question is, what are the corresponding English terms for הספק מושקע and הספק מנוצל ?
The text I am translating also calls the הספק מנוצל as Pout ("out" is a subscript of P), which I understand, since it refers to the power at the terminals of the battery, the "output" of the battery.
However, it also calls ההספק המושקע על ידי הסוללה as Pin, and I do not really understand why.

Thanks in advance.
