Here are the frase. It is from a historical text about India.
"The trader community of Kathiawad was divided in nine casts like Tenners (Dasa). Twentiers (Visa) Modh, Sorathias, Porvals, Osvals, Sonis (Jewellers)etc."
I found that "Dasa" in Sanscrit means "ten", but not only. What sense is in it? Do other casts have some meaning in English? I manage to find others in internet but didn't manage to find the explanation of there sense. I guess they have it by looking at the last one in the sentence. Please help in translation. If someone can put it in Russian it is better. But English is also good. Thank you for your attention.
