Tolerant? tolerant of what? disturbance?
A pionír legalább nem idegen. A kornak is vannak előnyei :-)

In plant geography (phytogeography) disturbance is an
episodic processes that limit plant growth: e.g. erosion, flooding, pests, wind, pollution, avalanches, accumulation of snow and ice
the frequency and magnitude of disturbance varies among landscapes.

Tolerance is range of stress and disturbance that a plant is able to withstand without damaging effects plants with high tolerance have high ecological amplitude (habitat versatility).
