like grains
Explanation:
Drs Peter Salim's Std Indonesian-English Disctionary page 523 gives:
masir adj like grains.
Methinks this means the beer was drunk drop by drop ie like grains falling grain by grain/piece by piece into a receptaclenot unlike someone who nursed his drink...

Saya seharusnya memberikan kalimat contoh lain dari syairnya, misalnya: "masir terus mimijat penyair"
"penyair menertawakan masir"
"masir tidak mau berpikir" dsb.
Apa maksudnya 'grains' ie. drops of beer itu, atau memang orang? makasih banyak

feels like grains

Explanation:
Just additional comments
Whoever the person who drink the beer in that poem is feeling that the beer tastes likes grains, not smooth, meaning that he/she is not enjoying the beer as it should be. It is similar with the expression "food fells like thorn" or everything he/she eat seems to choke him/her. Although 'masir' in that poem might only to get well with the rhymes.
