Taklik translates as \'ammendment\' and I think that historically it has been a pledge made by a husband at the time of marriage. If you are descrbing the Sighat Taklik you should probably call it the \'abandonment clause\' recognizing that article three describes abuse not abandonment, If you are describing its purpose it is a provision in a marriage contract by which a woman can sue for divorce for reason of abandonmentor abuse. My understanding of how its commonly used is as a mechanism for a no contest divorce when the two parties are estranged. HTH \"...
