a detrarre parte a solaio

could the in be a typo? I would think .
Solaio means both and attic or loft AND a wooden floor.
With the vaults I would think the former but from an earlier part of the transcript I thought for sure they were talking about a floor.

minus the floor area
Explanation:
They do mean the floor. The calculate length by width and subtract the floor area (parte a solaio). I know it's difficult to imagine, so I hope my explanation makes it a bit clearer?
