I have looked at the recipe and this is the nearest translation I can think of. Usually we would use icing sugar but here they have used confectioner's custard.

agree  P.L.F.Persio: it's actually very similar to a ganache, except that the main ingredient in ganache is cream, while here is crème pâtissière: I must say that - as a native Italian and lover of all things sweet - I'd never heard before of "prenz".
