I am translating a technical specification on control valves for a thermo-electric power plant.
"la prova idraulica dei corpi valvola, con valvola in posizione "aperta" ed in controtenuta, deve essere eseguita ......
Does this just mean closed. If so, why hasn't the writer said "con valvola chiusa"? I am confused.
