Italian to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / financial statements
Italian term or phrase: avviamento affrancato
This is an item in a table giving details of deferred tax assets (Attività per imposte anticipate). The table also includes "Fondo svalutazione magazzino", "Fondo garanzia prodotti" etc.

It's from the annual financial statements of an Italian company that manufactures, sells and exports things that would be shipped in a van or lorry.

I normally translate avviamento as goodwill. I wonder if it's being used with a different meaning here.

Some translations from Italian have "redeemed goodwill" but I haven't found any support for that as a term used in texts originally written in English. I'm not convinced by "goodwill franked", either.
