stabile organizzazione occulta

English translation: hidden permanent establishment

Italian term or phrase: stabile organizzazione occulta
From a notification from a tax office:

Would this be simply a "concealed company"?

Thanks in advance.

A permanent establishment (PE) is a fixed place of business which generally gives rise to income or value added tax liability in a particular jurisdiction.

BTW, I think you would be fine keeping concealed as well.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks Linda, I was unsure whether permanent establishment was widely used but this seems to explain the concept very clearly: http://www.deluca1974.it/public/editor/article.pdf
