Italian term or phrase: cialda
Dear folks,
Please would anyone know how to translate "cialda" in this case?

Cialda Lattice e Release
Scopo

The images are of an aluminium plate partly filled with a white substance (latex) before and after being put in an oven. The idea is to test its plasticity. I'm guessing "cialda" is something like a baked sample but am not sure of the correct term in this case.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Helen, thank you for the quick reply. I noticed a previous entry for "pod" but that is in the field of food. Are you sure this would apply to the testing of latex? We're looking at a hardened mess of latex after it has been in the oven for a few hours.
