Marketing - Marketing / Market Research / corporate image
Italian term or phrase: sedimentabilità
From a book on management.

I am not quite sure what is meant by sedimentabilità in this context when describing corporate image. Below is the definition of sedimentazione in Treccani and was trying to find a suitable term or phrase in English. Perhaps "evolve"? Any help would be appreciated.

underlying catchiness

Explanation:
'....che hanno bisogno di un periodo di s. per attecchire'... so to 'catch on'.

I recall 'sedimentability' from chemistry lessons in a past age at school where some 'masters' (teachers) had indeed, coincidentally, been the 'dregs of British society'.

  • There was a devil-may-care-but-I-do mentality to their songs, and a fuzzed sound with raised-voice vocals that belied the underlying catchiness ..
