Frase completa: "limite altoalto - % superiore al precedente di occupazione dello spazio riservato su disco."

A minha dúvida é se "precedente" deve ser traduzido como: precedent, record, previous. Isto porque a preposição di parece apontar para record, mas como já tinha um outro limite anterior (limite alto), poderá também ser previous.

Mas se me puderem ajudar com a frase completa seria óptimo.
