Hi all -

I am translating a cardiology report on a patient undergoing a series of tests. At the end of the paragraph below there appears ADB.

Would anyone know what it might stand for?

VALUTAZIONE E PROCEDERE
Paziente nota per una malattia coronarica, stato da IMA inferiore trattato con PTCA primaria della destra (2.3.2013), successivo trattamento del RIVA e della RCx (5.6.2013), che in occasione dell'ultimo controllo specialistico ha presentato segni di ischemia inferiore. La MRI cardiaca ha documentato una necrosi inferiore ed una ischemia anteriore basale.
La coronarografia non documenta lesioni residue significative, per cui abbiamo potuto rassicurare la paziente.
Il trattamento rimane invariato, controlli specialistici secondo decorso clinico (ADB).

L’ADB fisicamente si trova nella zona adiacente al Pronto Soccorso, ma è parte integrante del reparto di Medicina, situato al primo piano. Sono, infatti, i medici della Medicina a prendersi cura delle persone ricoverate nell’Area di Degenza Breve, con il supporto del personale infermieristico del Pronto Soccorso.
