Italian term or phrase: emoculture a freddo
This question has been asked before (see: https://www.proz.com/kudoz/italian_to_english/medical_genera... but I don't think the answer given ("blood culture performed in the absence of fever") makes sense in my case because the patient did have a fever:

How should I translate this phrase?

Thanks as always.
