Italian to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Italian term or phrase: previo dep.
I'm really struggling with "previo dep." in this sentence. This is taken from an SOP from a pharmaceutical company describing the process of . This is from a section defining certain terms. This comes up the term "Approved email" (already in English in the Italian text) and is preceeded by the sentence "form di messaggio inviato elettronicamente dall’Isf al medico a seguito di una visita di persona tramite la piattaforma informatica [name of computer programme]".

Si distinguono in “branded” (con nome commerciale di un farmaco e diffuse previo dep.[competent authority]) e “unbranded”

“Previo deposito”? - See page 33. Branded/unbranded made me think of trademarks, but could possibly refer to a patent filing depending on what the [competent authority] actually is.
