Italian term or phrase: località ’Ddumari
I was just wondering if anyone knew exactly what this is. At the moment I have left the original "'Ddrumari" and put in brackets (milling room) by way of explanation, as this is obviously what was done there. My problem is that I understand 'Ddrumari to come from Addrumare, to ignite, kindle, etc., but I can't see the relevance in the context of a water mill where the village people milled grain to make bread... Can anyone shed any light? Context below:

Many thanks!
