I think it is probably best to check with the client. If it is a sunsail style resort that takes its sailing seriously then it would more likely be row boats i think rather than the pure leisure pedalo.

This is advertising.
If your client gets no tourists you won't get paid. Be as exciting and attractive as possible without breaching the trades description act or its Italian equivalent, and your client will love you and tell all her/his friends and you will get lots of work :)
And if the campsite is good the tourists will enjoy reading the brochure and their holiday to boot.
Precision is for court and contracts and regulations and other Oh so boring things.

As I said, and you surmised, I don't think there is a precise equivalent.
Sol I would go for paddle or pedal boats for hire and rescue boats for the "pattini a salvataggio". It isn't a contract and tourists are hardly likely to complain because the paddle boats weren't exactly what they expected. If you want to sell something you need simple famiiliar words, nothing strange to frighten them.
As for pattini, 50 thou hits says it might be the older word but its still going strong.

Yes, Sarah, I would do that, as actually pattini are kind of old fashioned. On Italian beaches nowadays you find pedalò, which are used for rescue as well, but not pattini any longer.

Thanks to everyone for their contributions so far. Reading Laura's comment, I'm wondering whether the client has in fact used the word "pattino" in error, when he actually means "pedalò", which would be much more usual. I'll try and get clarification on this point.

because a paddle covers the paddles which rotate and of course the paddles of canoes which can be used as oars. Your context is unclear "pattini a noleggio" will be pedal/paddle boats for pleasure. I've never seen the "pattini a salvataggio" outside Italy and I would call then "rescue paddle boats" as an apt description.

I would leave the Italiano word and insert *small twin-hulled row boats* in brackets. Pedalò are different boats from pattini: the first are operated through feet, the second through rows.
