" Formare gli astucci e chiudere solo una patelletta, facendo attenzione a non deformarli durante questa operazione"

I assume they mean the small flap/lid at the ends of such boxes (they are the type of boxes used for the sale of medicines/pills etc.). Is theree a term for this?
