Comment: "I actually translated 'pozzetto di giunzione' as junction chamber, which was suggested to me by an electrical engineer. You asked for the context for the other term I requested (fibra spenta); that was the problem - there wasn't any! My source told me it was dark fibre. Thanks for your help anyway.
