Hotels' electricity consumption
This is from a text about the advantages of promoting your hotel as being environment friendly.
I take "presenza annua" to mean "annual overnight", but the sentence as a whole doesn't make sense to me. Physics isn't my strong point either. Is it possible that the word "annua" is a mistake, and it really means "one overnight consumes 30 kWh"?

Note from asker:
Thanks, but this doesn't really answer my question. Why does an annual stay use 30 kwH and not (say) a monthly stay? |

See for instance, http://www.risanamentoenergetico.com/sapere.htm, where the following info is provided, among others, 'Classe energetica A: < 30 Kwh/mq/anno (3 l. gasolio/mq annuo)'.
Just a thought.
