La storia artistica di Miguel Ortiz Berrocal si snoda geograficamente tra Madrid, dove consegue la Maturità, studia matematica e chimica e frequenta la Scuola di Belle Arti e la Scuola di Arti Grafiche, Parigi, dove ottiene una borsa di studio dal Governo Francese, e Roma, dove ha la prima intuizione sul concetto di “scomponibilità”. Berrocal approda alla scultura dopo aver dedicato i primi anni di attività all’architettura e alla pittura. La sua personale invenzione del concetto di “smontabilità” e la sua intuizione dell’esistenza di una dimensione interiore dell’opera scultorea rivelano all’artista un vasto orizzonte di ricerca e sperimentazione. Risalgono alla fine degli anni Cinquanta le realizzazioni Boîte découpée e Grand Torse, con le quali inizia la serie delle grandi opere componibili.

Etant donné qu'on parle notamment dans ton texte d'oeuvres composables, pour le 1er terme au moins, cela me semble aller de soi, et puis les 2 termes sont entre guillemets : les 2 termes, normalement appliqués dans le domaine technique, sont appliqués dans le domaine artistique.
