Si tratta sempre del soffiatore a lobi (!)

Ecco la frase:
"Le flange della macchina non devono essere caricate dal peso delle tubazioni od essere sollecitate da coppie flettenti indotte da accessori o dilatazioni termiche delle loro strutture".

poi si dice anche che:
" la macchina può essere appoggiata direttamente sulle flange, essendo queste ultime strutturate appositamente per questo scopo."

La traduzione di "flange" può essere la stessa per queste due frasi, giusto?
