Continuava a pensare che presto si sarebbe fermato una buona volta e sarebbe entrato, presto,già domani forse, e intanto la sera continuava a leggere la Gazzetta dello Sport, ma la leggeva in altro modo, con malinconia, come se stesse per distaccarsene per sempre, e quando prima di addormentarsi la richiudeva e la posava le lanciava un ultimo sguardo-vecchia Gazzetta- perchè quella avrebbe potuto anche essere l'ultima volta.
MIA TRADUZ:
Il continuait à penser qu'il s'aurait bient^ot arreté une fois pour toutes et il saurait entré, bient^ot, peut-^etre déjà demain, et entre temps il continuait à lire la Gazzetta dello Sport, mais il la lisait de façon differente, avec mélanconie, comme s'il etait en train de s'en detacher pour toujours, et quand il la repliait, il la posait juste avant de s'endormir, il lui gettait un coup d'oeil- la veille Gazzetta- car celle là aurait egalement pu ^etre la derniere fois.
