Ortaggi e verdure sono la stessa cosa? La parola ortaggio definisce tutti i prodotti dell’orto, come quelli da frutto (cetriolo, zucchino, zucca, peperone, melanzana, pomodori ), quelli da fiore (carciofo, cavolfiore, broccolo, asparago), quelli da seme (legumi), quelli da foglie (lattuga, radicchio, indivia, cupettone, borragine, spinacio, cavolo, bieta), da fusto (sedano, finocchio, cardo), da radice (ravanello, carota, barbabietola, rapa), quelli da tubero (patata, topinambur) e quelli da bulbo (cipolla, aglio, scalogno, porro, cipollotto).
Il termine generico di verdura invece è un termine gastronomico e nutrizionale che indica le parti della pianta che sono utilizzate nell’alimentazione.

Esiste un sinonimo per "Gemüse"?

Da sowohl "ortaggi" wie "verdure" in den eingängigen Wörterbüchern mit "Gemüse, Grünzeug" wiedergegeben wird, habe ich auch schon häufiger vor diesem Dilemma gestanden.

Ich denke, man kann hier mit der Unterscheidung der Anbauorte arbeiten: Gemüse, das auf dem Feld unter freiem Himmel angebaut wird und Gemüse, das im gärtnerischen Gemüsebau angebaut wird. So wird Gemüse auch bei Wikipedia unterschieden:

Am Ende habe ich mich für Gartengemüse und Gemüse entschieden.
Im Grunde sind "ortaggi" und "verdure" auch im Ital. Synonyme, doch manchmal meinen gewisse Textautoren, dass sie etwas Neues einführen müssen (?) ....
