mi fa pensare al francese "piquet" per esempio e mi da l'idea che il grosso cliente lo abbia relegato in un angolino, inducendolo in qualche modo a darsi da fare e inventarsi qualche nuovo prodotto... Nel tuo testo c'è veramente l'accento???

non voglio fare la voce che esce dal coro ma, se non vado errata, di solito si dice "dare un due di picche", non "dare picche". L'accento che indichi nella tua frase, poi, mi fa pensare a un termine francese per così dire italianizzato.

vielen Dank für die zahlreichen Antworten. Bin immer noch am Überlegen, welche Lösung ich wählen soll, zumal aus dem Kontext einfach nicht klar wird, was letztendlich gemeint ist.

Aber Diana, warum soll der Übersetzer mehr schreiben als der Urheber des TExtes? "dare picche" ist colloquial, wie "einen Korb geben". Nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Ich würde dabei bleiben. Was das bedeutet, wird sicher im Laufe des Textes klar, oder?

Also klänge eine Übersetzung mit "Der Kunde hat mir für das Produkt XY einen Korb gegeben" etwas merkwürdig :-) aber eine Abfuhr erteilen wäre auch nicht die beste Lösung. Vielleciht etwas wie: hat mich auf einem Produkt sitzen lassen.

Es heißt zwar einen Korb geben / eine Abfuhr erteilen, aber ich glaube, dass trotz allem nicht ganz klar aus dem text hervorght (es sei denn, aus dem Kontext, der uns fehlt), ob der Großkunde ein Produkt nicht abgenommen hat und der Käsehersteller mit dem
